Open Canoeing

Versatility is what I love about this discipline, equally at home exploring a local backwater, paddling whitewater rapids or out in windy conditions on open water. Add in the element of carrying the equipment required for an overnight or multi day expedition, sailing and traditional skills like poling and you have a craft where everyone can find something they love and immerse themselves in the outdoors.

This course looks at the core skills of canoeing on flat water in light winds and easy moving water.
